Field Study
Site Introduction
The site of the pilot construction is the office area built in the 1990s. The site's buildings and ground were constructed with a large amount of concrete and little green space. Therefore, the site can be piloted as a small old community.
From the value of area distribution, we can find that the proportion of building area and impervious area is very high (more than 90%) and the proportion of green space is very small (less than 10%), which will lead to the increase of runoff coefficient. Therefore, there is a great necessity and potential for green infrastructure construction in this area
